Traveling through the lands of queens, kings, and leprechauns, begin and end in London and pass through Wales, Ireland, Northern Ireland, Scotland, and England.

    Get ready to visit some of the splendid castles and palaces for which Britain and Ireland are famous. You’ll stroll through the gardens and tour Malahide Castle, one of the oldest castles in Ireland and home to the Talbot family for over 800 years. In Edinburgh visit Edinburgh Castle, where you’ll marvel at the Scottish Crown Jewels, and Holyrood Palace, The Queen’s official residence in Scotland. Finally, enjoy a tour through majestic Blenheim Palace, built in the early 18th century and birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill.

    On this tour through Britain and Ireland, you’ll enjoy guided sightseeing in many of the cities with Local Guides — experts from the area who will give you in-depth, insider knowledge of the cities and their attractions. In London, your sightseeing includes a visit to St. Paul’s Cathedral; in Belfast, a “Living History” tour will show you the city’s famous landmarks; and in Edinburgh your sightseeing includes both the “New Town” and “Old Town.”

    Arrive in the sophisticated city of London! You will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel. After checking into your hotel, enjoy the rest of the day at leisure, exploring this exciting city on your own.

    Day 2,London

    Grab your camera and get ready to see all of London's most iconic landmarks. Spend your morning on a sightseeing tour as your local guide accompanies you to the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, Piccadilly Circus, Buckingham Palace, and more. Visit St. Paul's Cathedral and witness the ceremonial pageantry of the Changing of the Guard, if held. Spend the remainder of the day exploring the city at your own pace.

    Day 3,London - Stonehenge - Bath - Newport, Wales

    After breakfast, meet your tour director and traveling companions at 8:00 am and depart for a memorable day of sightseeing. First, travel to prehistoric Stonehenge; explore the visitor center with its imaginative exhibitions, then admire the magnificence of the monument up close. In the elegant Georgian city of Bath, see the amazing excavations of the Roman Baths. Cross the Severn River into Wales, and tonight, enjoy a welcome dinner with wine at your hotel in Newport, Wales.

    Day 4,Newport - Cardiff - Waterford, Ireland

    Enjoy an orientation tour through the Welsh capital. See Cardiff Castle, Cathays Park, and the stately civic buildings. Continue along the South Wales coast to Fishguard, then board your ferry. Take in the view as you sail across St. George's Channel to Rosslare, then proceed by coach to Waterford, a stronghold founded by the Danish Vikings in 853. Indulge in a delicious dinner, then enjoy an Irish Coffee demonstration.

    Day 6,Killarney. Ring of Kerry Excursion

    Feast your eyes on extraordinary views as you take the spectacular 100-mile panoramic drive through the Ring of Kerry, the island's southwestern tip. Keep an eye out for the gorgeous Lakes of Killarney from Ladies View, then spend the rest of the day exploring Killarney on your own.

    Day 7,Killarney - Adare - Cashel - Kildare - Dublin

    Make your way to the quaint village of Adare, and frolic through traditional colorful thatched cottages. Next, visit the historic Rock of Cashel, where St. Patrick preached. In the afternoon, visit the Irish National Stud, whose fine thoroughbreds are respected throughout the world. After a guided tour, enjoy tea and scones at the Japanese Gardens Restaurant. Drive to Dublin and begin exploring the vibrant city.

    Day 9,Dublin - Malahide - Belfast, Northern Ireland

    Start your day strong with a visit to historic Malahide Castle. Join your guide on a tour of the castle, that was formerly home and fortress of the Talbot family for nearly 800 years. Admire its diverse architectural styles, then stroll through its extensive gardens. Cross the Boyne River and arrive in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Enjoy a fascinating visit to the Titanic Experience, where you'll learn all about the building of the largest passenger steam ship, its maiden voyage, and its tragic night of April 14, 1912.     Today, enjoy a "Living History" tour in the company of a local guide.     Enjoy a morning of sightseeing with a local guide, who will introduce you to the 200-year-old "New Town." Learn about the famous scientists, inventors, and novelists who've lived and worked there. Switch gears and explore the "Old Town." Drive up the narrow Royal Mile to Edinburgh Castle and admire Scotland's Crown Jewels. Next, explore Holyrood Palace, when available.     Day 12,Edinburgh - Alnwick, England - York

    Relax and enjoy vistas of the beautiful North Sea coastline as you drive via Berwick-upon-Tweed to Alnwick, voted the "best place to live in Britain" in a national survey. Make your way to York, England's most complete medieval city, and come face-to-face with York Minster, the largest Gothic cathedral in Northern Europe. Then, follow your tour director through a maze of quaint streets, including the narrow Shambles.

    Day 13,York - Coventry - Stratford-Upon-Avon

    Travel to Coventry, where you'll view the splendid modern cathedral that rose from the rubble of severe World War II bombings. After that, head to Stratford-Upon-Avon and take pictures in front of Anne Hathaway's Cottage. Enjoy a light lunch, then visit Shakespeare's Birthplace.
