Day 1 Welcome to Rome!,Rome
You’ll pick up your rental car that will be yours for the duration of your trip and take off to the Montegufoni Castle located in the Tuscan Hills. This 4-star castle hotel is about a three-hour drive from the airport, so plan your arrival accordingly; but driving through the gorgeous countryside you will have amazing photo opportunities and be able to stop whenever you’d like!
Day 2,Tuscany
The Montegufoni Castle is located in the heart of the Chianti Region in Tuscany. With your rental car, feel free to take a 30-minute ride to Florence. Florence is a very culturally diverse city, known as the birthplace of the Renaissance. Check out its “must-see” sites including the Duomo, the Pitti Palace, and the Uffizi Gallery.
Day 3,Tuscany
Enjoy the day at your leisure. You'll also be centrally placed to take day trips all around Tuscany, including Pisa, Sienna, and many other hidden villages.
Day 4,Tuscany
You will be about an hour’s drive from the famous Leaning Tower of Pisa and Chianti Wine Region. The beauty of traveling at your own pace is that you can choose where you go and when you go!
Day ,Tuscany
Take the drive through the gorgeous Tuscany area. Tuscany is a region in Italy known for the picturesque countryside and its ideal location for traveling to other cities.
Day 6,Tuscany
For your final full day in the Tuscan region, if you are looking to do a little less driving but still want to explore, head south for about an hour and you will reach the city of Arezzo. Enjoy the Medieval towers and Renaissance style sprinkled throughout the streets and the busy Piazza Grande, the city center!
Day 7,Tuscany - Rome
Spend the last two nights of your getaway just outside of Rome. The Villa Vecchia will provide you with excellent service along with the most ideal location.
Day 8, Rome
Venture into the dynamic capital city, Rome, and dive into the many sights and tourist attractions as well as the local cafes and Italian eateries! Visit the Colosseum, the Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps and more!
Day 9,Depart Italy
You will depart Rome today.
