    Day #3 Amsterdam Panoramic City Tour by Bus & Boat 9:00 AM - $25.00

    This panoramic tour of Amsterdam takes you to view both the old and new sections of the city. From the comfort of a modern air-conditioned motor coach, view the Royal Palace, National Monument, "Skinny Bridge," Albert Cuyp market, and the beautiful merchant houses along the canals. The tour also includes a visit to a windmill on the Amstel River. Afterwards, enjoy a tour through Amsterdam's famous canals and Old Harbor. Board a glass-top boat and cruise the canals to view historic homes with beautiful fronts, 16th-century warehouses, and charming churches with bell towers. Departs from 26 Damrak, the main street between central station & Dam square. Drop-off at 26 Damrak.

    Day #4 Half Day Marken, Volendam & Windmills 8:45 AM - $55.00

    This excursion takes you through the countryside north of Amsterdam, to the edge of the river Zaan, where you will visit the windmill village De Zaanse Schans, with its characteristic green wooden houses. At the turn of the 18th century this district was an industrial area with approximately 700 windmills in use. In this day and age there are only five left. Through typical Dutch scenery you will continue to Volendam for a city walk, and then to the traditional fisherman’s village of Marken, situated on the shores of the former Zuiderzee. This tour includes a visit to a working windmill, a boat ride between Marken and Volendam, a demonstration in a cheese factory and visit to a traditional clogmaker. Departs from 26 Damrak, the main street between central station & Dam square. Drop-off at 26 Damrak. Approximate tour duration is 5.5 hours.

Of the many exhibits found therein, this tour covers those of the medieval fortress, the modern pyramid, the Egyptian Department, and some of the museum's most reputed masterpieces, including Leonardo da Vinci's Mona Lisa. Today's tour takes you to Versailles Palace to witness the grandeur of French classical architecture. Visit the Palace and extravagant State Apartments, including a guided visit to the Reception Halls, the Queen's Bedroom, and the Hall of Mirrors. You will also have time to walk the palace grounds and formal gardens*, designed by Andre le Notre, at your leisure.     This first class hotel is situated nearby Gare de l'Est. The hotel is conveniently situated nearby the Gare de l'Est railway and Metro station. Canal Saint-Martin is within a half mile walk. The Louvre Museum and the Notre Dame Cathedral are about 1.9 miles away from the hotel.

    Ramada Apollo Amsterdam Centre – 4 Star

    This first class hotel is ideally located on the edge of Rembrandt park. The hotel is ideally located in quiet suburban location opposite a park. The tram stop that is right outside the front door can take you to the city center. Central Station is just a 15 minute ride away.

    Hotel Pavillon Monceau – 3 Star

    This tourist class hotel is located nearby the Parc Monceau. The hotel is within two miles of the Parc Monceau, Arc de Triomphe, Musée national Jean-Jacques Henner, and Theatre Mogador. The Eiffel tower is slightly over two miles from the hotel. Many subway stops are located nearby the hotel.

    This tourist class hotel is well located in the heart of the city overlooking the Stadhouderskade and next to the Rijksmuseum. The hotel is in a prime location overlooking the Stadhouderskade and next to the Rijksmuseum. It is a short walk to the Van Gogh museum, Stedelijk museum, old city center and canals. The hotel is surrounded by restaurants, cafés, shopping and entertainment. The central train station is 2.5 miles from hotel.
